FIFA World Cup 2014 Australia vs Spain: A fight for pride

Australia takes on Spain in a match which will not affect any standings in the FIFA World Cup as consecutive defeats have eliminated both teams from the tournament. Australia are at third position with 0 points and goal difference of negative 1 in Group B while Spain are at the bottom of Group B points table with goal difference of negative 6.

Tim Cahill has high hopes for Australia to create history but 2 Yellow Cards will keep him out of the match as Australia take the field for the last group stage match where they take on Spain.

Australia is the lowest ranked team of all the teams that have qualified for the World Cup 2014 but the last 90 minutes will be their game against the past Champions which will be a good opportunity for them to exit Brazil with their heads held high.

Group B consists of Netherlands, Chile, Australia and Spain. Get the Live updates of FIFA World Cup 2014 Australia vs Spain Group B Match here. The kick off time is 4:00 PM GMT (9:30 pm IST, June 23).
